Hello everyone - we have been having a GREAT time ever since we moved to Virginia. Olivia has assimilated into the world of Brambleton quite well and has several little friends to play with any day of the week. The following are pictures are from the last several weeks.
Matt woke us up EARLY Thanksgiving morning and surprised us with a trip to NYC to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade :) It was complete madness. The amount of people trying to see the parade was overwhelming. Olivia had the best view from atop Matt's shoulders. The picture above shows just how may people were there and that was just ONE street. We felt like sardines but we had a GREAT time and ate New York Pizza for Thanksgiving Day dinner!
Olivia having a wonderful time. It's just so sweet to see her so happy :)
Uncle Sam marching down the street!
And Papa Smurf.
My cousins Ansley and Emily taught me to be peaceful in EVERY picture...
Thank you ladies :)
And here we are again with the peace sign...
This is where Olivia got her beloved Felicity doll - American Girl Store NYC

She LOVES hot pretzels especially from a pretzel vender in NYC.
The Wisemen came to visit Olivia. St. Nicholas's Day is a special tradition in our family along with the Boyels family. I remember this wonderful tradition as a little girl and now I'm so glad that we can use this day to teach Olivia about the birth of Christ and the events leading up to it. Advent is such a wonderful time of year.

This past weekend we took Socks to a park across the street to get him out of the house. Olivia and Socks had a wonderful walk on the path and the woods. Here are a couple of pictures.
Best buds!
Another pretty amazing thing that we did this past weekend was to experience a concert at the Kennedy Center. We saw NPR's a Jazz Piano Christmas with NEA Jazz Master Ellis Marsalis, Jason Moran, Geri Allen, and Taylor Eigsti. It was really amazing and we look forward to many more Kennedy Center Performances.
Last but not least in this post is Olivia's new lost tooth. She lost the one on the left last night and is very excited to look like a little bunny :)
More to come during the holidays.
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
